Dear reader,
I’m David Sassoon, publisher of Inside Climate News. Thank you very much for subscribing.
We started Inside Climate News in 2007 on the belief that the public deserves non-partisan, evidence-based journalism on one of the most important issues of our time: the climate crisis.
Major news outlets don’t fund the type of incisive and investigative reporting that this topic demands—so we stepped in to fill the critical gap.
Today, no other journalism organization is meeting this need like we are. We serve as watchdogs of government, industry and advocacy groups and hold them accountable for their policies and actions. (And we’re proud that our original, investigative stories have won us many awards, including a Pulitzer Prize.)
